This policy applies to all services provided by ProtonBits, including but not limited to software development, consulting, support, maintenance, and related digital services purchased directly from us.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Service Agreements & Contracts

Refunds are subject to the terms of your signed service agreement or contract with ProtonBits.

If a project is canceled before any work has commenced, you may be eligible for a partial refund, minus any administrative or processing fees.

2.2 Prepaid Services

For services billed in advance (e.g., monthly retainers or prepaid hours), refunds are not issued once work has started for the billing cycle.

Unused portions of prepaid services may be refunded at ProtonBits’ discretion, depending on the agreement.

2.3 Custom Development Projects

Since custom development requires significant time and resource investment, refunds are generally not available once development work has started.

If you are dissatisfied with our work, we encourage you to contact us to resolve issues through revisions, adjustments, or alternative solutions.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

Setup fees, consultation fees, or discovery phases already completed.

Work that has been delivered in part or in full.

Third-party software, licenses, or tools purchased on behalf of the client.

Any delay or interruption caused by incomplete client inputs, approvals, or dependencies.

4. Process for Requesting a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to sales@protonbits.com
within 30 days of the issue arising.

Please include your project details, payment receipt, and the reason for requesting a refund.

We will review your request within 30 business days and respond with the outcome.

5. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement, ProtonBits will work with you to find an amicable resolution. If disputes cannot be resolved directly, the matter will be handled in accordance with the governing law specified in your contract or agreement with ProtonBits.

6. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
